PRSI Jaipur Chapter & Agrani Foundation organized ” Interactive Session on Cancer Awareness “
Jaipur. An interactive session on Cancer Prevention & cure was organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) Jaipur Chapter and Agrani Foundation at the Information Center at Poddar School Campus on Sunday, 16 February 2020.
The keynote speaker at the session Dr. Prashant Sharma, Senior Consultant (Surgical Oncology) of Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital, gave details about cancer and addressed the queries of the audience.
Dr. Sharma said that instead of being afraid of cancer, full treatment should be taken by relying on the doctor. There can be many reasons for cancer, but the consumption of tobacco and smoking greatly increases the risk of cancer.
Breast cancer is more common in women, so women above 40 years of age should undergo mammography periodically. Older women should get mammography done from time to time.
Dr. Sharma told us that by regular exercise and a balanced diet, we could avoid diseases to a great extent. Our efforts in increasing immunity keep us away from diseases.
At the beginning of the session, PRSI Jaipur Chapter Chairman Mr. Ravi Shankar Sharma and Agrani Foundation Secretary Mr. Jai Deo Sharma welcomed Dr. Prashant Sharma. Mr. O. P. Chandrodaya, in-charge of Information Center and Mr. Mahendra Jain from PRSI, proposed the vote of thanks.
