Photo Contest Award Ceremony & “Plant for Mother” Program (14th October 2024)

The Public Relations Society, Jaipur Chapter, successfully organized the Photo Contest Award Ceremony and “Plant for Mother” program on October 14, 2024, at Vedic PG College, Mansarovar, Jaipur. The event, themed “Extend a Hand, Hug, and Seek Blessings”, celebrated the creative contributions of participants while promoting environmental responsibility.

Highlights of the Event:

  1. Chief Guest Address: Mrs. Manju Baghmar, Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of Rajasthan, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She spoke on the importance of nurturing human relationships and the environment, linking these values to societal well-being. Her inspiring words encouraged the audience to foster compassion and responsibility in daily life.
  2. Special Guest Remarks: Prof. Sudhi Rajeev, Vice-Chancellor of Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, addressed the participants, emphasizing the role of mass communication in promoting social causes. He applauded the efforts of the PRSI Jaipur Chapter in engaging the youth in meaningful initiatives that combine creativity and social awareness.
  3. Photo Contest Awards: Winners of the photo contest were recognized for their creativity and thoughtful representation of the theme. Certificates and prizes were awarded to acknowledge their contributions and inspire continued participation in social and environmental initiatives.
  4. “Plant for Mother” Initiative: A unique segment of the event, the “Plant for Mother” initiative encouraged attendees to plant a tree honouring their mothers, symbolizing respect, gratitude, and a commitment to nature. Several plants were distributed among participants, and a tree-planting ceremony was conducted on-site.
    The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and community members. The initiative successfully blended creativity and environmental stewardship, motivating attendees to contribute positively to society. The organizers, led by Virendra Pareek (Chairman), Mr Kalyan Kothari (Coordinator), Mr Manish Hooja (Secretary), and Ashish Bakshi (Organizer), received accolades for their efforts in making the event impactful and memorable.
